Funding acknowledgements

Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center's legal name is Hallwalls, Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation (founded December 1974, incorporated May 1977), and a registered charity in New York State. Hallwalls is supported by a combination of public and private grants from government arts agencies, national and local foundations, and corporations; Annual Campaign gifts from individuals; earned revenue; special fundraising events held throughout the year; and the annual membership dues of hundreds of artist and sustaining members.

Major grant and underwriting support for Hallwalls' 2024–2025 season has been provided by the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) with the support of Governor Kathy Hochul and the New York State Legislature, Erie County Arts & Cultural Funding, Aurora Art Conservation, Chamber Music America, The Cullen Foundation, M & T Bank, Hodgson Russ LLP, K.C. Kratt Photography, The Margaret L. Wendt Foundation, The Marks Family Foundation, The New Phoenix Theatre on the Park, Inc., Dissolution Plan Buffalo Spree Magazine, Rand & Jones Enterprises Co., Inc., Dome Art Advisory, Leroy Dental Center, Simple Gifts Fund, UB Humanities Institute, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management/Bank of America, artist and sustaining members of Hallwalls, and generous donations from many other individuals and local businesses.
