ARTISTS & MODELS AFFAIR: A&M XX

Annual art party fundraiser with temporary art installations and performances by artists and musicians.

HISTORICAL NOTE (8/5/24): This was the 20th edition of Artists & Models (hence the XX). Tony Billoni conceived of and named the event, and produced the first ten, 1984–1993, often in collaboration with Hallwalls curators such as Cathy Howe and Steve Gallagher. As a Hallwalls Board member, and with encouragement from fellow Board member Bruce Adams, Tony bequeathed the event to Hallwalls in 1994 as an annual fundraiser, and Hallwalls took it over and produced it for 20 more years, 1994–2014.

2024 is the 40th anniversary of the first Artists & Models Affair (1984), the 30th anniversary of the first one produced by Hallwalls (1994), and the 10th anniversary of the last one we did (2014).
